The “No Free Ticket” (NFT) restriction is imposed for selected films and screenings upon their release. It means that complimentary vouchers, offers or Cinebuzz free tickets are not valid for use on that specific film or screening until the restriction has been lifted. Pre-paid gift cards and gift vouchers are not restricted by the NFT restriction.
Generally, the NFT restriction will last 1-2 weeks after a film’s release, although there are exceptions. Films with the NFT restriction will be marked with an NFT attribute (like below), displaying on the affected session time online.
For films that are restricted with NFT, you won’t be able to redeem your Cinebuz points for a free ticket as above. For NFT sessions, you do have the option to redeem a portion of points (400 in original and V-Max, 1000 in Gold Class) to access a discounted paid ticket, if you have reached the required thresholds for redeeming points. For more information on redeeming Cinebuzz points on NFT restricted titles, see How do Cinebuzz points work?
