How does points redeeming work for Velocity Frequent Flyers?

Velocity Members can redeem Velocity Points for all or part of an Eligible Purchase with participating Event Cinemas. To redeem Velocity Points a Velocity Member must:

1. Log in to your Velocity account via the app or website. In the app, go to the Earn tab and click on the Event Cinemas Book now and be redirected to the Event Cinemas website. 
2. Log in to your cinema rewards account: Sign in to Cinebuzz (Event Cinemas) before booking; if you’re not a member, you’ll need to join.
3. Choose your session: Select your cinema, movie, session time and a movie ticket.
4. Complete your Eligible Purchase and pay for the purchase in full either by redeeming Points for the full amount or by using ‘Points and Pay’ to redeem some Points and make a payment (including debit or credit card payment, gift card redemption or a combination) for the remaining price. 

A Velocity Member can redeem a minimum of 2,000 Velocity Points per transaction.

NOTE:

• A VFF’s member account details will be shared with Event Cinemas to allow the Member to redeem Velocity Points, including their Points balance and the number of Points to be redeemed for on their Eligible Purchase, and to allow Event Cinemas to process their order.  
• "Eligible Purchase" means any purchase made by a Velocity Member when they access the Event Cinemas website via the steps above, including all movie ticket, food and/or drink purchases, and booking fee purchases made through that channel.
• If a session was booked fully or partially with VFF points and the session is cancelled, any points will be returned to your account 24 hours after the time of the cancelled session being processed.
