To become a Cinebuzz Rewards VIP member you need to earn 150 “status credits” in a rolling 12-month period. Status credits are earned on the basis of 10 status credits for an original session, 12 status credits for a V-Max session and 15 status credits for a Gold Class session where you have purchased a ticket which has been recorded against your membership number.
At the end of each month your status credit balance is reviewed. If in the prior 12 months you have achieved 150 status credits, you will be automatically upgraded to a Cinebuzz VIP membership (your account number will stay the same).

To check your status credits, feel free to follow the below steps.
1. Log into Cinebuzz account at www.eventcinemas.com.au
2. Go to 'My Orders' under 'My Cinebuzz Dashboard'
3. Go to 'Past Orders'
4. 'Status Credits' will appear under this title on the left hand side of your screen
To retain your VIP tier, you'll need to reach 150 status credits over the next 12 months.
