Online bookings can be swapped* online up to two hours before your booked session by using your booking confirmation email, or through your Cinebuzz account.
*Please note that you can only make one change to your online booking and you cannot swap to a different cinema venue.
To swap your online booking, follow the below steps.
1. Log into the Cinebuzz account that the original session is booked under. A swap will not be possible for your booking unless you are logged into the original Cinebuzz account.
2. Once logged into your Cinebuzz account, go to your main dashboard and select 'My Orders', select the order you wish to change, and then 'Change Session'.
NOTE: if you did not use a Cinebuzz account to make your original booking, simply visit your original online booking confirmation email and select the ‘Change Session’ option. Your choices to made a swap will be more limited for non-members.
3. Click 'Change Session' and follow the prompts
4. The available sessions at that cinema location will appear. Select a new session and seats you wish to swap into.
•If you are upgrading your session to a higher value ticket, there will be a new balance to pay.
•If you are downgrading your session to a lower value ticket, your 'credit' will be automatically processed as a refund back to the payment method used in your original booking. It can take up to 5 days for the refund to reach your original payment account.
5. Once you have successfully swapped your booking, you will receive a new booking confirmation email. Your booking confirmation code may change.
If you have encountered an error when attempting a session swap, you can head in store to the cinema venue you have made your booking at, to request a swap in person (this must be completed prior to the booked session commencing).
*Swaps not available for the following booking types: Skyline Drive In Blacktown bookings, Telstra Plus bookings, Moonlight Cinemas bookings
