When searching for available session times, you might see that different sessions have unique tags displayed on them. The tags applicable to a particular session will display in each session time box, like below. In this example, you can see the tags include IR, NFT and SAVER.
There is a legend or key which can be found on the same search page, above the displayed session times. This legend can be expanded. It will breakdown what each tag means.
Some of the common tags that you might see on a session are explained below:
- Original - The session is in an Original cinema
- V-Max – The session is in a V-Max cinema, surcharges apply
- GC – The session is in a Gold Class cinema, Gold Class pricing applies
- 4DX – The session is in a 4DX cinema, 4DX pricing applies
- Boutique - The session is in a Boutique cinema, Boutique pricing applies
- ScreenX - This session is in a ScreenX cinema, ScreenX pricing applies
- Recliner - This session has recliner seating option which is a premium seating concept
- Daybed - This session has Daybed seating option which is a premium seating concept
- Private Box - This session has Private Box seating option which is a premium seating concept
- ATMOS – The session has the ATMOS sound system
- 3D – The session is in 3D, surcharges apply
- SAVER – Discounted Cinebuzz member tickets are available for the session
- Family Saver – Discounted Cinebuzz member tickets are available for these family films
- NFT – No free tickets restrictions apply to this film, read more on the no free tickets restriction here
- ALT CONT – Alternate content film; Cinebuzz points cannot be redeemed for these films. Vouchers are subject to their terms and conditions; they may not be able to be used on these films
- SPECEVENT – Advanced screenings/Special events; these films are only in theatre for a very limited time. Vouchers are subject to their terms and conditions; they may not be able to be used on these films
- SUBS – This session is in another language but has English subtitles
- CC – This session has closed caption feature available
- AD – This session has audio description feature available
- IR – This session has infra-red hearing feature available
- LOOP – This session has hearing aid loop capacity
- FF – This session is for a film festival movie, tag only appears when highlighting over the session
Some sessions which screen in foreign languages. The language of the film will be noted as a tag (the below example is a film screened in Hindi) and it will display the SUBS tag if the film will also have English Subtitles available on the screen.
